MACH INDUSTRIES AND HEVENDRONES PARTNER TO BOOST U.S. DRONE MANUFACTURING
New Partnership Aims to Scale Production of Hydrogen-Powered Drones and Strengthen the U.S. Defense Supply Chain
Mach Industries, a California-based defense tech firm, has formed a strategic partnership with HevenDrones, recognized for its hydrogen-powered drones. The collaboration is set to enhance the manufacturing of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in the U.S. by leveraging Mach’s Forge network.
This partnership will initiate the production of three HevenDrones models: the H100, H2D55, and Raider at Mach’s leading facility in Forge Huntington. Additionally, both companies plan to collaborate on developing essential drone technology components such as avionics, radios, and fuel systems.
This agreement acknowledges the increasing demand for sophisticated drone systems while addressing the need to lessen reliance on foreign suppliers, especially from China.
“We’re not just accelerating production, we’re creating the next generation of defense manufacturing,” stated Ethan Thornton, CEO of Mach Industries. “With HevenDrones as our partner, we play a crucial role in empowering the defense sector with high-performance drones, reinforcing our domestic manufacturing capabilities to keep our military at the forefront of technology.”
Forge Network to Play a Central Role
The Forge network, known for its adaptable manufacturing model, is tailored for swift production of defense technologies. By integrating HevenDrones’ systems into this network, the companies aim to establish a vertically integrated supply chain designed for agility and resilience.
“Our customers urgently need thousands, and eventually tens of thousands, of drones for deployment,” mentioned Bentzion Levinson, CEO of HevenDrones. “Our objective is to ensure rapid, full-scale American manufacturing of the most adaptable, dependable, and powerful platforms for military operatives.”
Forge Huntington will be the pioneer of multiple sites anticipated to fulfill extensive drone orders. Mach’s decentralized production model enables swift adaptation to evolve operational requirements, a crucial advantage in the dynamic defense landscape.
A Broader Vision for Domestic and Global Supply Chains
This partnership extends beyond the U.S. borders. The Forge will also cater to international allies, enabling them to sustain their own production for crucial drone technologies. This approach supports national sovereignty and contributes to a robust global defense framework.
By bringing production closer to the U.S., the aim is to decrease dependence on foreign suppliers. The collaboration underscores the escalating significance of drones in contemporary warfare, as well as the necessity for a reliable industrial foundation.
Mach Industries will gain from HevenDrones’ specialized drone technologies, while Heven will benefit from a swift, vertically integrated manufacturing system, together providing a competitive alternative to the prevalent dominance of Chinese drone manufacturers.
