DronePort Network Collaborates with ResilienX on BVLOS Project in Oklahoma

DronePort Network has recently announced a partnership with ResilienX to establish a Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) airspace environment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This collaboration represents a significant step towards enhancing the capabilities of autonomous aviation.

As stated in their official release, this initiative involves a four-year agreement aimed at transforming Tulsa into a hub for advanced autonomous aviation operations. ResilienX’s role includes leading the design, integration, and execution of critical infrastructure elements, such as a centralized data exchange, surveillance fusion systems, and tools for system monitoring and regulatory compliance.

This project is part of the Secure Autonomy Feedback and Evaluation Test Bed (SAFE-T), which is supported by funding from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) through the Tulsa Tech Hub. The SAFE-T project falls under a broader umbrella of six initiatives that are made possible by a $51 million EDA Tech Hub grant aimed at fostering the development, testing, and manufacturing of reliable autonomous systems in the Tulsa area.
