On May 15, 2025, Pierce Aerospace announced a strategic partnership with MITRE aimed at advancing the development of Remote ID technology for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This collaboration will leverage Pierce Aerospace’s Remote ID sensors deployed at the MITRE National Range to boost research in areas such as airspace detection, drone autonomy, and national security measures.
