Introducing the V-Line Pro for DJI Matrice 4 Series
Volarious, a leader in tethered drone technology, has unveiled its latest innovation, the V-Line Pro, tailored for DJI’s Matrice 4 Series. This new tethered system is compatible with both the Matrice 4E and 4T models, allowing for extended flight times across a range of applications.
According to Weiliang, CEO of Volarious, “The Matrice 4 series represents DJI’s premier drones for enterprise use, excelling in various domains such as surveillance and event monitoring. The V-Line Pro significantly decreases the necessity for battery changes, thus minimizing blind spots during operations.”
The V-Line Pro utilizes a lightweight, aviation-grade tether capable of connecting to a height of 70 meters. It also features a smart tension system designed to reduce cable slack, ensuring stable operations even in high winds and allowing for single-person operation. Moreover, the reel mechanism enables an ascent and descent rate of 7 meters per second while maintaining low tension on the tether.
This advanced system comes equipped with several safety features, such as an Advanced Thermal Control system that continuously monitors and regulates the temperature at various points throughout the tether using six temperature sensors and nine fans. The V-Line Pro can connect to various battery stations, allowing the drone to operate continuously for up to 10 hours when paired with a 2 kWh AC battery. Additionally, it includes the V-Assist App, which provides remote monitoring for tether system data.
Weiliang emphasized the goal of enhancing the operational potential of the Matrice 4 Series, stating, “Our aim is to elevate the use cases for the Matrice 4 Series. The V-Line Pro is designed for professionals in diverse fields, from firefighters and search and rescue teams to security personnel, ultimately improving their aerial capabilities.”
