Introducing Sentaero 6: Advanced A.I.Rborne Asset Intelligence
In the pursuit of making commercial operations beyond the horizon and beyond visual line of sight (OTH BVLOS) commonplace, Censys Technologies proudly unveils the Sentaero 6, a drone system meticulously crafted from customer feedback and regulatory insight. This initiative underlines their commitment to enhancing lives through advanced asset intelligence while delivering unmatched value from a proudly American manufactured product.
Since 2021, Censys Technologies has transformed its operational capability from 3-mile geo-constrained BVLOS approvals involving visual observers to national BVLOS permissions, allowing the Sentaero 5 to execute one-way flights extending up to 40 miles without visual observer requirements. Censys Technologies persistently strives to advance OTH BVLOS operations in the U.S. through innovative aircraft designs and close collaboration with the FAA.
Rob Knochenhauer, Director of Regulatory Affairs, explained, “The Sentaero is now embraced by regulatory bodies, enabling operators to harness the significant benefits and efficiency of OTH BVLOS operations. Our clients and the broader industry require more capable aircraft to leverage this evolving trend, which is the rationale behind the Sentaero 6’s development.”
Traditionally, users have depended on a one-crew-aircraft-one-pilot model for OTH inspections, mapping, and surveys. This approach has imposed constraints based on human resource availability and the proximity of airports for operations. The Sentaero 6 overcomes these limitations with enhanced economics and bridges the capabilities gap with a 2-hour endurance, upgraded payload capacity compared to earlier models, native AI integration, as well as a commanding 90-mile command and control (C2) range. These advancements empower operators to undertake larger, more complex missions with increased frequency, providing timely insights into asset conditions.
The operational paradigm for Sentaero 6 will soon evolve to incorporate swarm operations (one pilot managing multiple drones) and completely remote functions, setting the stage for a data collection rate and quality that has never been seen before. Furthermore, to enhance safety and reliability, critical single-point failure modes have been addressed and an ASTM-certified parachute has been integrated for urban operations.
With an upsurge in operational capabilities comes a parallel increase in data generation, which is why Sentaero 6 is equipped with an onboard computer. This enables the deployment of CensWise, an intuitive AI/ML software platform that processes data into actionable intelligence while in-flight.
Trevor Perrott, CEO of Censys Technologies, remarked, “We aim to bring our customers closer to omniscience, and the Sentaero 6 exemplifies this commitment. This platform not only provides a drone; it delivers a complete solution that gathers data, transforms it into intelligence dashboards, and helps users swiftly detect and address issues.”
The Sentaero 6 is now open for preorder. For more insights on how Sentaero 6 can transform your operations, visit www.censystech.com or reach out via info@censystech.com.
Note: C2 (command and control) range is contingent on the availability of cellular services.
