Key Enhancements in Mapping Abilities
The updated eBee VISION now includes capabilities for circular and grid mapping, allowing users to create both 2D and 3D maps with the aid of external post-processing software. This upgrade, combined with high-definition, real-time video surveillance, enhances the quality of geospatial intelligence available to users.
Operating in GNSS-Denied Environments
The software now supports operations in areas lacking Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals. Users can manually disable GNSS capabilities to mitigate risks posed by jamming or spoofing, ensuring successful missions even in challenging conditions where other GNSS-dependent drones might falter.
NATO Compliance for Enhanced Interoperability
This latest update ensures compliance with STANAG 4609, the NATO standard for motion imagery exchange. This includes embedding drone positioning and camera data into both recorded and live-streamed video, facilitating better compatibility with military and defense applications from various vendors.
Flexibility in Landing Operations
A noteworthy feature enhancement allows users to manually adjust the landing location of the drone on the map, providing estimates regarding the drone’s range before landing. This capability enhances tactical operations and streamlines mission planning.
