Publication of CAP722B Edition 5, UK SORA AMC/GM and RPC AMC/GM
The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has announced the release of the ORS9 decision, specifically ORS9 CAA Decision No.46, which delineates the UK SORA as an Acceptable Means of Compliance according to UK Regulation (EU) 2019/947 Article 11. This regulatory framework will officially come into force on April 23, 2025, with updates to be provided in the Regulatory Library shortly thereafter.
Additionally, new standards for Remote Pilot Competence, designated as Acceptance Means of Compliance (AMC), have been released alongside an update to CAP722B.
